Jesus Love me (and you) this i know...

"Jesus Loves me, this I know... for the bible tells me so...." During some of my darkest moments I often forget those words. I was fortunate to have a wonderful pastor remind of how much he (Jesus) loves me. 

these past few month I was loosing faith in christ and it had keep swirling downward... after being reminded how much Jesus loves me I broke down in tears because I knew at that point that God was screaming at me and reminding me that I, Dhari Dull, was chosen to be his family! He gave up his PERFECT son so i myself born a sinner and unperfected could live!!!! So you could live because that is how much Jesus Love us! 

God looked at us yes EACH and everyone of us and said "I want you! I will do ANYTHING to get you!"

I went to the junior high retreat (SnowBound) this weekend and one of the talks that our speaker talked about was how much god loves us.

God gave his son up for me?! for you?! I don't about you but thought of giving up the one thing i truly love (weather it be a child, a sister, parent..) and allow them to be beaten and to have nails HAMMERED into their hands and feet and to hang in pain on the cross and die for people who WONT be thankful or who will sin. But that is what God did... Because he loves you... he wants you in his beautiful family! He knows your unperfected and how messy and the failures you will go through and yet he wants you so bad! You are so perfect in his eyes despite everything we do! 

It truly amazes me the love christ and God has for me! He will NEVER leave me... because he sent his son to die! That is how much he LOVES US! Don't Give up he isn't going to give up on you EVER!

So when hit the dark points in your life always remember the childhood song  that was taught in sunday school...

"Jesus Love me this I know, for the bible tells me so..."

Me: God, can I ask You a question? 
God: Sure 
Me: Promise You won't get mad 
God: I promise 
Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today? 
... God: What do u mean?
Me: Well, I woke up late
God: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start
God: Okay
Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait
God: Huummm
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call
God: All right
Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home. I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?
God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that
Me (humbled): Oh
God: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.
Me: (ashamed)
God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.
Me (embarrassed):Okay
God: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.
Me (softly): I see God
God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.
Me: I'm Sorry God
God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me.... in All things , the Good & the bad.
Me: I will trust You.
God: And don't doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.
Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.
God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children...

Endures forever!

I tend to glance around at the people who are sitting when i sit down in the pews at church... knowing that we as born sinners come into God's church as a fake!  We sit through these sermons about walking OPENLY with one another, confessing our sins but act if as if everything was perfect. NEWS FLASH!!!! we aren't perfect... and thats okay.  God loves you so much not matter what you have done, he knows you are going to mess up, fail many times, do things that you will be so ashamed of but thats why there is the cross. The cross reminds us that despite our short coming he still LOVES us.. God loves us so much that he put his only son on the cross to die!  The Church is a place to heal the wounds and pain, to be honest with yourself, others that life isn't always easy! church helps those to receive the love christ has for you and to have the chance to give everything to the lord. NO ONE IS PERFECT in the church... not even the preachers! no one is! we all are this imperfection beautiful creations of god. 

During the darkest parts of our lives where there seems like there is no light.. God is right there with us... he HASNT abandon you. He is with you in every step telling you 'we will get through this... we will finish this painful time and endure it together. I will not leave you.. don't give up!' He wants you desperately to give your burdens and hurts to him... HE WANTS to carry them for you so you don't have to go through it alone. God wants you to talk to him... he wants you to bother him! God isn't just available on sundays for an hour during church.. no.. in fact he is waiting for you call him and question him.. to have a relationship like no other relationship you have had before. He wants so badly to be your father, friend and seek him... this is was important for him that he, our gracious,merciful God, gave his only begotten son to die on the cross for you, for me, for the young lady in the fifth pew!! He hurts when we hurt, he smiles when we smile, HE LOVES YOU! 

God wants you to come to him with all your imperfections and unconfessed sins, and hurts and pain, and joy... he want you just as you are! for you are PERFECT in god's eyes!!

So next time you head into your church realize you are just like the others all at the same place... to be healed and love. Don't be fake... god didn't make you that way... be yourself.   

God's love endures forever! 

our gift to God

About 2 months ago i was driving to church and i turned on the radio to KLove; the song 'How great is our God' by Chris Tomlin came on. But it wasn't his original version... it was mixed with other languages from around this beautiful world. My eyes welded with tears of joy and this immense amount of love! There is so much hatred in this world, we can't seem to just be at peace regardless of the god we worship. Hearing this song has got to make my God smile... hearing other beautiful voices from around the world coming together as one and worshiping  him!
Mother Teresa once said: " Peace begins with a smile"-- spread peace and kindness. 

2012!!!!! what?! this is CRAZY!

Year 2011 has come and gone... I have experienced some wonderful events this year and have struggled through some well not so fun things. I been able to meet some wonderful people and really get to know them. This years resolution is getting closer to god and TRUSTING him... and the other typical one... LOOSE weight :)
2011 has flown by! Had a great celebration to end 2011 and begin 2012 with some amazing friends and food!! Thanks momma Faris... such a great cook! shrimp.. YUM!!
Started the new year with a great sermon... always great to start the year off with a great sermon! :)))
I look forward to experiences god's plan for me this year and years to come.
God is alway good; always god is good! :)
Live each day to the fullest is one huge lesson i learned this year... so its time to CELEBRATE THE GOOD TIMES!!!!!

Dogs are amazing... all they want is to be loved.. they don't judge or tell your secretes to anyone else. they just want to be your best friend and be there for you and make you smile.
My senior year in high school mom wanted to get me a dog... so sent me this email of this long legged, black and very dorky looking dog. I knew that this dog was the PERFECT one. That afternoon we left (my mom and sisters) to go to Boulder to pick her up. When we got to the Boulder Humane Society there were some very cute puppies, lots of little fur balls. Then I walked over to the dog that mom had sent me a picture of. Her name was Pepper at the BHS (Boulder Humane Society). We asked if we could play with her, so my mom, myself and two sisters were put in a room and this lady brought in the dog. I knew from that moment I was actually able to pet her and play a little with her that this beautiful black lab/ German short hair pointer mix was my new BEST friend.
Its been almost 3 years (she turns 3 in January) that i have spent with my best friend. I named her Ollie but I call her Buddha..(and boo boo) when she sits she has a bit of a Buddha belly. its funny cause she is a pretty lean dog and to have that chubby tummy is so cute.
now if you have seen the movie Marley and Me she is a lot like Marley (the horribly behaved dog)... she has a mind of her own and she is stubborn just like her momma. I wouldn't ever change it.. (well we still work on being polite in public.)
She is the best snuggle bunny... she sleeps in the bed with me (yes under the covers.) Every morning I wake up with her stretched out on her back and we play the 'kissing game'. she will try to kiss me while i hide under the covers. its my FAVORITE way to wake up!  We watch tv every morning together and then she like to sit and watch cats 101 on animal planet.
I love watching her catch frisbees and tennis balls... she is beautiful when she runs. and a great swimmer!. I love our runs we do together... such an awesome running partner!
Boo-boo has been there through thick and thin and I could not have ask for a better companion and best friend. God has truly blessed me with this beautiful dog.

Who am I?

I am a child of God's. I have such a neat personality and love sharing my engery with others. I have gone through hell and back a few times and each time it has made me stronger. I love going to church.. I have the best pastor ever! i have learned so much from him over my 17 years of being there. I fully admire his sermons and who he is as a person. I am so blessed to have him in my life and as role model. I have met some amazing people and they have all been such a blessing to me. 
I want to fallow God's desires for me and I want to live through god. I know god has such a wonderful plan for me and i cant wait to see what lives i will touch and who will touch my life.
